NssY Debian/Ubuntu Repository

A collection of packages not usually available in official repositories.

Repository Key

Key is available here deb.nssy.org-public.key

Command:

wget -O - http://deb.nssy.org/deb.nssy.org-public.key | sudo apt-key add -

Debian 8 (Jessie)

Add the following lines into your /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://deb.nssy.org/debian jessie main

Preferably you can create a separate file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory.

Here are the contents of my sample /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nssydev.jessie.list

# NssY Debian 8 (Jessie) Packages

deb http://deb.nssy.org/debian jessie main

# Key
# wget -O - http://deb.nssy.org/deb.nssy.org-public.key | sudo apt-key add -

Command:

sudo wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nssydev.jessie.list http://deb.nssy.org/nssydev.jessie.list

Debian 7 (Wheezy)

Add the following lines into your /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://deb.nssy.org/debian wheezy main

Preferably you can create a separate file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory.

Here are the contents of my sample /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nssydev.wheezy.list

# NssY Debian 7 (Wheezy) Packages

deb http://deb.nssy.org/debian wheezy main

# Key
# wget -O - http://deb.nssy.org/deb.nssy.org-public.key | sudo apt-key add -

Command:

sudo wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nssydev.wheezy.list http://deb.nssy.org/nssydev.wheezy.list

Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise)

Add the following lines into your /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://deb.nssy.org/debian precise main

Preferably you can create a separate file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory.

deb http://deb.nssy.org/debian precise main

# Key
# wget -O - http://deb.nssy.org/deb.nssy.org-public.key | sudo apt-key add -

Command:

sudo wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nssydev.precise.list http://deb.nssy.org/nssydev.precise.list

Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty and above)

Add the following lines into your /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://deb.nssy.org/debian trusty main

Preferably you can create a separate file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory.

Here are the contents of my sample /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nssydev.trusty.list

# NssY Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty) Packages

deb http://deb.nssy.org/debian trusty main

# Key
# wget -O - http://deb.nssy.org/deb.nssy.org-public.key | sudo apt-key add -

Command:

sudo wget -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nssydev.trusty.list http://deb.nssy.org/nssydev.trusty.list

Thats All

Now you can now just do

apt-get update && apt-get install <your-package-name>
